Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

The blower competition is in full force with plenty of competitors giving you options to leave gas behind. EGO’s line is about to be bolstered with a new high-performance model—the EGO 765 CFM battery-powered blower.

There’s no question performance is the big deal for EGO’s newest blower. With the standard trigger settings and cruise control dial, the brushless motor produces 260 – 580 CFM. When you hit the turbo button, you can access its full 765 CFM. On the airspeed side, it tops out at 200 MPH using the tapered nozzle that comes in the box.

All that translates to a whopping 26 Newtons of blowing force based on EGO’s testing. Even compared against high-end professional handheld blowers, that’s a lot more power!

With big power comes limited runtimes, but EGO still manages it well. In low, you can expect a 5.0Ah battery to run up to 150 minutes. Using Turbo, it’s about 15 minutes.

EGO plans to offer this blower as a bare tool (LB7650) or as a kit (LB7654) with a 5.0Ah battery charger. Both configurations include a shoulder strap, tapered nozzle, and spread nozzle. Expect the kit to run $299 when it hits stores. Bare tool pricing and the launch date are still TBA.

EGO backs this model with a 5-year warranty.
